Two winemakers from the south of France and one unforgettable meal at the footsteps of Catskill Mountains. We partner up with Victoria James, a sommelier from Piora restaurant, Kermit Lynch, a wine importer and Crested Hen Farms. All food was foraged or sourced locally and cooked over an open fire. When you had a collection - a team - of people so passionate about what they do and then how they translate that passion into an event, you know that it was an event that you didn't want to miss.
Mill River Farm hosted a collaborative al fresco dinner highlighting the best of what’s in season featuring local food producers and the work of regional artists at a communal table. Catered and produced by Heirloom Fire and Magdalena Events, the picturesque setting for ‘An Evening in the Country,’ highlighted the region’s abundance of culinary and craft artisans and nourish the strong connection between local makers and the landscape.
As a genuine tribute to “farm to table” and the wares that grace the tables cape we were working in partnership with a collective of potters hailing from the Northern Berkshires and Southern Vermont who shared their work with dinner guests for the evening.
